W/ Whittler did the following:
Ten rounds for time of:
3 Weighted Pull-ups, 45 pounds
5 Strict Pull-ups
7 Kipping Pull-up
For weighted pull-ups place a 45 pound dumbbell between the legs above crossed ankles and jettison the dumbbell after third rep and continue with strict pull-ups and then the kipping pull-ups. Coming off the bar or going to ground constitutes termination of a set.
W/ Chris not being very strong on pull ups he did well. 1st 3 rnds were w/ 45# w/ waist strap. 4th rnd w/ 35# & 5th rnd w/ 25#. Grip strength started to fail & calluses became blisters. Calling it "Magnum" because of the reps of 3,5 & 7.

Form felt pretty good w/ the 4 reps but once the weight went up the mental factor of not wanting to get below weight took over.
