Going to recon the area once the traffic dies down & check out the location of the cert. We are excited & a bit tired as we didn't really sleep last night. Drive went well & w/o incident...it also went quick. Dave & I had a good time just shootin' the breeze.

Class was awesome. Dave & I learned so much today & yet there is so much more to learn I'm sure. Level 2 cert here we come. Dave was saying that after he learned how to "really" squat his knees were w/o pain. It was a very humbling day. We did "fran" & everyone was there doing it together. There were "heats" so that everyone got their turn. Dave did fairly well but was unable to PR. I however did not get close to my PR but w/ much guidence during "fran" I grinded through it & gained much respect from everyone that was there around me. Even the coaches where complimenting me on how hard I was going even after the "heat" was over (10 mins max).Constantlly Varied Functional Movements w/ High Intensity = Crossfit!!
It was a very informative, uplifting, humbling, highly enjoyable & overall just a F'n awesome day. Even if you don't Crossfit regularlly this is something everyone should do @ least once in their life.
Dave & I did the following throughout the day:
Bottom to Bottom Tabata Squats
20 seconds of squats
10 seconds of active rest (down in the squat pozish)
Score is your lowest reps in one 20 sec round.
I think I had about 12 but I was mostly working on my form.
Dave was also working on it seeing as how we had just recieved our "how-to-squat" briefing.
An excelent warm-up w/ burpie type exercises & Samson stretches w/ a bit of jumping jack thrown in. Then we did......
"Fran" I can't explain how amazing it was to have 35 or so people doing it @ the same time. No amount of words could explain...I will just have to say...At least once in your life you should try Fran while @ a CF Cert or just in a big group.

Finished up the weekend w/ some amazing classess. We also worked out a bit. The whole class did the following in 10 min heats:

Max rounds in 20 mis of the following -
250 row
15 STRICT!! Box Jump
15 STRICT!! Wall-Balls up to the 12 ft mark
We then finished up the day w/ some hands on work w/ the Snatch, Pull-up, Row & Muscle-up. @ the end of the day just before Dave & I left I got my first Muscle-up. Very cool. We eneded up an excellent day enjoying an excellent meal w/ some of the instructors. Learned alot about the hx of Crossfit.
I would do it all over again if I could.
