In the AM worked on 135# back/front squats:
12 back
12 back
10 front
10 front
Then worked on power & squat cleans w/ the camera checking my form. It's getting there.
Then in the PM did:
W/ Lt. Burkhart & Dick Justus from St.21 we did the following:
3 movements w/ 2 rounds:
Jump rope
Power Clean (135# or 95#)
Carry 50# db overhead & run/walk 400 meters
Work can only be performed while the 50# db was being walked. All 3 athletes rotated each time the 50# db returned. Score based on total #'s cleaned & ropes jumped for both rounds.
I was beat by both Lt. & Justus because R-32 got a call on final movement on 2nd round. I was only able to get 5 cleans on the 135# bar & 10 on the 95#. Cool WOD; will have to do something like it again soon. I thought this one up so as to cater to Lt.'s strengths while also allowing me to tap into mine as well.
